Gorgeous Weather

We definitely had some wacky weather this week, but we COMPLETELY lucked out that we scheduled Aubrey's 6 month pictures for this past Tuesday. The weather was absolutely perfect outside, so we were able to get some outdoor photos as well as some cute indoor ones as well. Aubrey did great! We had the same photographer who took Aubrey's newborn photos take her 6 month pictures and she will also be taking her 1-year photos. She was amazed at how happy and smiley Aubrey was and didn't believe us that she is usually that way. We have truly been blessed with such a happy and healthy baby! Of course, 1.5 hours and 4 outfit changes later, Aubrey had had enough, so we called it good. I can't wait to see some of her pictures to see how they turned out. I will post a few of them after we get the proofs. Hopefully at least one of our family photos turned out!

Aubrey has started on her "fruits" this week and has been loving each one she has tried. We are still following the 3-day rule, so today marked the beginning of her 3rd this week, but bananas, apples and pears have all been winners! Here's hoping we won't have too picky of an eater.

We went out to dinner on Friday night and Daddy and I woke up with tummy aches on Saturday morning and decided that we had food poisoning. Yuck! It only affected me for a few hours on Saturday, but Daddy was done dealing the whole day. Grandma Cave came to Omaha for a few hours, so she and Aubrey hung out for awhile until she had to head back to Columbus. After she took off, Aubrey and I went to Yutan to see Grandma and Grandpa Trost. They had been in Florida for over a week again, so Aubrey was really excited to see them.

Sunday brought yet another gorgeous day outside, so we couldn't pass up being outside as much as possible. Aubrey "helped" Daddy clean out the garage and we went for a walk. It was almost 80 degrees out so it felt more like summer than late fall!
